Pulse is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data.

Data Storage

All your habit data is stored locally on your device only. We do not transmit, upload, or sync your data to any external servers or cloud services.

Data Collection

We do not collect your name, contact details, habit names, descriptions, notes, or completion history. Pulse collects limited pseudonymous product-usage data to understand activation, retention, paywall performance, and purchase outcomes.

Pulse does not require an account and does not show ads.

Analytics & Tracking

Pulse uses PostHog for optional product analytics. Analytics stays off unless you choose to share it, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings. When enabled, PostHog assigns a random pseudonymous identifier that persists across sessions, allowing events from the same app installation to be combined into a person profile and viewed as one journey. Events are limited to app activity, trial activation, first habit creation, first completion, paywall views, and purchase outcomes, together with basic app and device metadata supplied by the analytics SDK. IP-based location enrichment is disabled. We send only your App Store storefront country code for a country-level breakdown; we do not send city, region, postcode, coordinates, or precise location. We do not attach your name, contact details, account details, advertising identifier, or habit content to this profile. We do not record screens, show advertising, or track you across other apps and websites.

App Store Privacy Label

Pulse reports product interaction and other usage data used for analytics. The data is associated with a random pseudonymous profile, is not connected to your real-world identity, and is not used for tracking across apps or websites. All habit data remains on your device.

Data Control

You have full control over your data. You can export your habits as CSV files for backup purposes. Deleting the app removes your habit data. A small amount of subscription-related data (such as trial start date) is stored in the iOS Keychain and may persist after deletion to prevent misuse.

iOS Widget

The iOS Home Screen widget accesses your habit data stored locally on your device using iOS App Groups. This data sharing happens entirely on your device and does not involve any external communication.

If we make any changes to this privacy policy, we will update this document and the app version.
